Although it doesn't look it from the beach, this Javan surf break is very heavy, shallow, and challenging to surf. It's usually dominated by bodyboarders, so was it was a bit unusual to only see one in the lineup during our time filming there. It's a long & dangerous drive from Bali to get there, but was definitely worth it. We will also be making another edit from our time there featuring land & drone footage.
